Basketball Stars

About Basketball Stars

Basketball Stars is a free multiplayer basketball game you can play in your browser, with fast one-on-one matches that last one minute. Every basket is worth 2 points, and whoever has more points when the timer runs out wins. Blocking shots and stealing the ball matter as much as scoring, so you have to switch between offense and defense all game.

You can play Basketball Stars online by yourself or with a friend on the same keyboard. Pick a basketball star, then use dashes, pumps and super shots to get open and finish. Shots taken closer to the hoop are more accurate, which makes every move toward the basket a risk-and-reward choice. As you progress, you can unlock new skills and abilities.

The Basketball Stars controls are split into two key sets, one for each player, so nobody needs to share keys. The tips below show how to use them well in a 60-second game.

Tips to get better at Basketball Stars

Drive toward the basket before you shoot. Close-range shots are more accurate, so do not settle for long attempts.
Use the double-tap dash to get past a defender or to catch up when your opponent has the ball.
Play defense as seriously as offense. A block or steal can swing a game that only lasts one minute.
Watch the timer. If you lead, protect the ball and defend. If you trail, take quicker shots and go for steals.
Save your super shot for a good moment, such as a clear look at the hoop, so it does not get blocked.
