Mars Jump is a free jetpack platformer you play in your browser, where you hop between platforms on Mars and land softly to avoid crashing. Your goal is to travel as far across the red planet as you can. Gravity is low, but fuel is limited, and any landing that is too hard or at a bad angle ends in a crash.

You can play Mars Jump online with nothing to download. You steer an astronaut with two thrusters, one on each side of the jetpack. Lifting off is easy. Setting down gently on the next platform is where the real challenge begins.

Tips to get better at Mars Jump

Thrust in short taps instead of long holds. Fuel runs out fast, and an empty tank before the next platform means a failed jump.
Plan your landing early. Start adjusting your angle while you are still in the air, not just before you touch down.
Use both thrusters together to brake your descent. This is the main way to avoid a crash on approach.
Stay level as you come in. A tilted astronaut can crash even at a slow speed.
Use checkpoints to learn. After a crash, you restart close by, so test a different launch or approach on the same jump.

As you near the next platform, hold both thrusters together to slow your fall.
Touch down gently and level to land. If you crash, you respawn at your last checkpoint and can try again.
Keep moving from platform to platform to unlock new astronauts and reach new areas.
