Red Face Horror

About Red Face Horror

Red Face Horror is a free psychological horror game you play in your browser, where you explore an apartment as a boy named Ron. At midnight, Mr. Redface, a character his parents invented, shows up for real and hands Ron a doll that looks like him. Your goal is to get through the night, piece together what is happening and reach the final sequence.

There is no combat and there are no puzzles. You walk through the rooms, examine objects and trigger events, and the story unfolds through visuals and subtitles because the game has no voice acting. Flickering lights, strange sounds and visual distortions carry the tension, so it suits players who prefer atmosphere and story over action.

You can play Red Face Horror online without downloading anything. Open the page, click to start and move into the apartment. Use headphones and a dark room if you want the full effect.

Tips to get better at Red Face Horror

Search every room before you move on. Clues and events come from objects you pick up or examine, so skipped items can mean missed story.
Read the subtitles carefully. They are the only narration, and they explain what the visuals show.
Use Left Shift to sprint when you want to cross a room quickly, but walk when you are searching so you do not pass over small details.
Play with sound on and in a quiet place. The audio cues often warn you that something is about to happen.
If the scares get too intense, pause and come back later. Nothing in the game is timed against you.
