About Lift Off

Lift Off is a free browser arcade game where you launch multi-stage rockets and time each stage separation to reach the highest altitude. Every launch pays coins based on how far you climb. You spend those coins on upgrades that push the next rocket higher.

You can play Lift Off online with no download and only one input. Your job is to detach each stage at the right moment. Let go too early and the rocket loses momentum and never reaches orbit. Wait too long and it explodes, which ends the run at once.

This rocket launching game also has a long-term goal. With enough stages and passengers you can launch rockets to Mars and colonize it. Push your build further and you can aim for Europa, a moon of Jupiter.

Tips to get better at Lift Off

Watch each stage closely and wait before you click. Releasing late, but not too late, gives the most thrust.
Do not rush the early stages. A release that is too early costs momentum, and the rocket may never reach orbit.
Spend coins on extra stages first. More stages let the rocket travel farther, and you need at least 9 to land on Mars.
Plan your Mars run ahead of time. You need 50 people on board as well as the stages, so save up before you attempt it.
Treat a failed launch as practice. An explosion from a late click shows you where your timing limit is.
