TriMerge is a free number-merging puzzle game you play in your browser, where you slide tiles on a 4x4 grid to build higher multiples of 3. You start by joining a 1 and a 2 into a 3, then match identical tiles to climb through 6, 12, 24 and beyond. The goal is to build the biggest number you can before the board locks up.

You can play TriMerge online with nothing to download. Every move slides all tiles in one direction, and a new tile appears afterward, so free space disappears fast. The twist is that 1 and 2 only merge with each other, which makes planning matter more than speed.

Your final score is the total of all tiles on the board, so a few large tiles beat a crowded grid of small ones.

Tips to get better at TriMerge

Keep your highest tile in a corner and build the next values beside it, so merges stay in one line.
Do not leave a lone 1 or 2 far from its partner. They cannot merge with anything else, so they clog the grid.
Use the grid edges to pin a 1 or 2 in place, then slide its match against it.
Check for double merges before you swipe. Clearing two pairs in one move gives you room for the next tile.
Avoid sliding in a direction that scatters your big tiles unless it is the only move left.
